Art Collective has evolved from a Student Based Organization to an independent Market for Local Artisans to exhibit and showcase their product. We feature some of Laredo's talented Musicians, Dancers and Poets. We strive to maintain the purity of Handmade Handcrafted items by showcasing artist and crafters and the passion and dedication they have in creating some amazing pieces of work.
We are more than a Market and moved beyond a Movement, we are A Collective.

The Bazaar Art Movement
The Bazaar Art Movement began as an outlet for local artist, crafters, jewelry makers other unique novelties to exhibit their items. The Bazaar was hosted in several location throughout Laredo, Texas. A partnership grew from ENACTUS and The Artisans Art Society to continue to provide a great place to buy handmade handcrafted items. Live Performances by Local Musicians, Dance Groups, Laredo Border Slam, Hip-Hop Artist, Mariachi group and Folklorico Dance Group,
A Special Appearance by United States Congressman Henry Cuellar.

The Artisans Art Society
The Student based organization began as a small art club and has become the staple for student artist to be part of a group that welcomes all individuals who aspire to become artist. The founders of the organization wanted to bring to light the amazing talent at Texas A&M International University by creating art related events. In 2014 Texas A&M International University Division of Student Success awarded the Artisans Art Society with the Student Organization of the Year.
